Blount County Habitat for Humanity’s Board of Directors is a dedicated, working board representing a diverse population of the community. The board is active in educating the community about BCHfH’s mission, public relations and marketing; recruiting new board members, beneficiaries and volunteers; meeting with government officials; evaluating the successes of BCHfH; and raising funds for BCHfH. Blount County Habitat for Humanity's board is primarily responsible for: 1) ensuring BCHfH remains fiscally stable by establishing the organization’s budget and reviewing all fiscal issues of the organization; 2) developing operational policies; and 3) developing organizational structure.

BCHfH’s board meets monthly and is available on a collective and individual basis for project assistance and policy decisions.

It is through the dedication of BCHfH’s board that Blount County Habitat for Humanity has continued to improve housing conditions for low and very-low-income families within Blount County.
