Women Build

Blount County Habitat for Humanity is excited to announce that its fifth Women Build will begin in the spring of 2009!

Women Build brings together women from all walks of life to address in a concrete way the housing crisis facing women and children throughout Blount County. Women Build empowers women to take action against poverty housing conditions. Women Build provides opportunities for women and girls to learn and to grow and to make a difference for others in our community! On a Women Build site, women are encouraged by other women to tackle all aspects of construction and become skilled and engaged volunteers.
