Housing Repair Collaborative
The mission of the Housing Repair Collaborative is to build better communities in Blount County by developing safe, quality, affordable housing repair for those in low-income households through:
- Coordinating of the work of local and out-of-town volunteer crews from churches, civic clubs, businesses, and non-profits.
- Assisting volunteer crews in identifying resources to fund projects.
- Providing a consistent means of assessing, planning, and evaluating projects.
We can perform general household repairs such as:
- Yard Work
We can help with handicap modifications including:
- New ramp construction
- Existing ramp repair
- Doorway modification
You can help!
We need skilled and unskilled Volunteers willing to help those in our community. Jobs can range from cleaning gutters, landscaping and replacing a faucet to roofing, replacing floors and building ramps.
The Housing Repair Collaborative can help identify projects for your youth group, men’s or women’s group, small group, business team, civic organization or local mission trip! If you’d like to get involved with the Housing Repair Collaborative, please contact Jason Brown – email@example.com or call (865) 233-9103.
