DONATION DROP OFF GUIDELINES

• Donors please remain in your car. Only one vehicle at a time will be able to unload.
• If you or anyone in your household has been sick, please bring your donation at a later date when everyone is well.
• Please have all donations bagged or boxed. We will not be able to return your container.
• Donations must be in useable, sellable condition.
• Everyone please respect social distancing guidelines and stay safe.

IN-STORE AUCTION

A new auction starts every Wednesday at 10 am and ends the following Tuesday at 3:45 pm. If you pick up your item on Tuesday or Wednesday, you get a 10% discount. All items must be picked up by Friday afternoon.

 2022 Holiday Dates

The ReStore will be closed on the following dates:

Labor Day: September 6^th

Thanksgiving: November 25^th and 26^th

Christmas: December 24^th and 25th

ReStore: A good deal for you, the community, and the environment.

The ReStore is a venture of Blount County Habitat for Humanity and supports its mission to provide simple, affordable homes for people in need through the sale of donated items at reduced prices. The ReStore also benefits the community by diverting waste from local landfills. In addition, we collaborate with other community agencies to help support their clients’ needs. Some of the agencies we partner with are Good Neighbors, Family Promise, Red Cross, local School Resource Offices, Haven House, local Churches, and the Baptist Center. The ReStore offers Blount County the opportunity to support our community while they shop for a great bargain!

Looking for an even better bargain? Check out our regular sales up to 25-50% off items already priced at up to 80% below retail value!! Frequent storewide sales, holiday sales, and 10% department wide sales are posted to our Facebook page. Follow us to keep up with the latest news and sales!

Auction
The ReStore has a monthly silent auction where we offer collectible, interesting, vintage, and/or unique items we receive as donations. Our monthly auction begins the 2^nd Wednesday each month and closes the following Tuesday at 5:45pm. You can see a preview of the auction items on Facebook but you must come in to the store to place a bid. Occasionally we have special auctions held in addition to the monthly auction, so keep visiting us here for more information.

Donate
When you donate items to the ReStore, you are not only helping our environment, you are helping local individuals and families achieve strength, stability, and self- reliance through shelter. Items sold at the ReStore are donated by individuals, builders, manufacturers, and other local businesses. If you or someone you know is closing a business, downsizing, remodeling or upgrading, please call us to discuss the advantages of donating to the ReStore.

• Donated items must be in decent, re-sellable condition
• Donations can be dropped off at our donation dock located at the back of the ReStore between 9:00-4:30 Monday – Saturday.
• Larger items such as furniture and appliances can be picked up! Please contact the ReStore to schedule a pickup (Monday – Friday) by calling (865) 379-9299 or emailing darlene@blounthabitat.org
• Most items are acceptable, but if you have a question about certain items, please call us. We cannot accept used mattresses.

Volunteer
It’s easy to get involved at the ReStore! The ReStore is blessed with many donations daily, and it takes many volunteers and staff to accept, process, and sell these items.  If you are looking for a way to give back, the ReStore can use your help! We also offer group volunteer opportunities and can accommodate younger volunteers at our ReStore than at our construction sites.
